Tim Rosales is the Vice President of The Wayne Johnson Agency, a nationally recognized public affairs, media and polling firm specializing in ballot measure campaigns, regulatory/issue advocacy efforts and survey research, to public awareness, brand management, media production and planning, and multi-media strategies.
With more than seventeen years of statewide political experience, Tim Rosales leads The Wayne Johnson Agency’s public affairs portfolio. Beginning with the firm in 2005, he has managed some of the biggest come-from-behind ballot initiative victories in the 2008, 2010 and 2012 campaign cycles including the historic defeat of recreational marijuana legalization – California’s No On Proposition 19 and overcoming a 50-point deficit in less than 3 months on the Massachusetts No On Question 2 effort.
Tim has lead effective public affairs campaigns and issue advocacy efforts working on behalf of clients in California, New Jersey, New Mexico, Vermont, Connecticut, Mississippi and Massachusetts. Prior to his work for The Agency, Tim served as senior staff and Chief of Staff to Members of Congress and the California Legislature working on policy areas including energy, transportation, education and commerce.
Tim holds a Master of Business Administration degree from Drexel University. Tim is active in the Sacramento MetroEDGE Chamber of Commerce, Drexel University Alumni Association and Alamo Defenders Association. Recently he was named by the Sacramento Business Journal as a finalist in their 2013 “40 under 40” list and serves on the national board of directors for the American Association of Political Consultants.
Tim has a B.A. in Political Science from Azusa Pacific University and an M.B.A. from Drexel University.
